  Black is our 7 year old pitbull. As a baby he was found tied up to a pole in a bad place. We took him in and he grew into a huge healthy, happy part of the family. He is getting older and becoming ill. Vet bills are expensive, we are on a fixed income. We have been going to the vet every few months, trying to do everything we can, but without getting all the testing we need, we cant get to the core of the problem and help him. We are watching him suffer and its not fair. Its seems like the option of giving him up is becoming a reality, and we really dont want that to happen. We just want him to feel better and be happy again. The funding will go to all of his testing and treatments. There's too many pitbulls in shelters, and he has a home, he has people who want him. We cant afford his bills, but its not fair that we cant treat him. We're giving this a shot in hopes he can get better and avoid a shelter. If we can do this, we will update on his progress.
