The Better Together Christmas Party 2019

For the last 4 years, The Better Together Project has hosted a FREE Christmas party to provide companionship for people in Sheffield who might otherwise be spending Christmas alone. All of our events have been hugely successful and we have had nothing but fantastic feedback from our guests that attended. One lady said that we had transported her back to the best days of her life, whilst another informed us that it was the first time that he had left his home in months. That is why with your support, we are hoping to host another event this year.

This year's party will be hosted by The Mowbray in Sheffield on the 15th December between 1-5pm. As usual, we hope to provide a range of entertainment as well as a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, free transport and gifts for all guests. We also have a freebie table at the party so that guests can stock up on food, toiletries, warm clothes, books and so on.

In order for this special event to go ahead, we need to raise approximately £3500 to cover the cost of a venue, accessible mini-buses, food, entertainment and decor. Every single penny that you contribute will go towards ensuring that our elderly guests have an amazing day that they will remember for years to come.
