Hey everyone I’d like to first thank you for viewing my story. I am a second year varsity student who comes from a destitute background,I’ve been surviving through funding and donations for my tuition all my life, even now Nsfas is paying for my education. I was raised by a single mother of three it hasn’t been easy until I got to varsity, because I am able to help her with my nsfas pocket money for little things. My perturbation is how my future will turn out to be after I finish school. In this country even if you have some qualifications it is not guaranteed that you’ll get a stable job. I am one of the young people who strive for success and never gives up on education, because I know where I come from and I know I have to make a difference. With all that being said, I came across a program called Cultural Au pair. This program gives the opportunity to young people between the ages of 18-26 to the USA on a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa for 12-24 months. Au pairs live with a host family, take classes at a local college, and assist in childcare duties in the home—in return, they’re given opportunities to immerse themselves in a new country and culture, making memories they’ll cherish forever. This is a great opportunity for financial breakthrough and overcoming poverty, getting these funds means I’ll enroll to this program which is the answer to all my problems. This program guarantees us to obtain skills from universities or colleges abroad, meaning I can add more on what I’m pursuing right now. And with more skills it will be easier for me to find a steady job. I am humbly asking for assistance in paying this fee. God Bless.
