Thames Path Challenge for my Auntie Beulah

We will be walking the Thames Path Challenge to raise money to support my extremely brave Auntie Beulah during her battle with Cancer. She has been battling one of the hardest diseases you can fight, Melanoma Skin Cancer. Her journey started 8 years ago in 2005 and she continues to fight it now. She has been one tough, positive and determined cookie and with the help & support of her three amazing sons she is managing to stay strong along the way. The journey has been long, tiring and full of bad news however she has now managed to get on a trial of a drug called anti pd-1. The treatment takes place in Pamplona Northern Spain. Getting on the latest trial drug for Melanoma has given Beulah the lifeline she so desperately needed as this was her last and only option. She will now have to travel to Spain every two weeks for treatment for the next two years. Even though the trial drug itself is free, all the expenses incurred i.e. travel, accomodation and all other medical procedures have to be met by the individual, this can average to over £1000 every time. This is the reason for our hardcore fund raising! The trial drug miraculously seems to be doing the trick, with some tumours shrinking and even disappearing, so with the funds and support this can continue and help make her better. To raise money, Ashley and I will be walking the Thames Path Challenge on Saturday 27th April, we will be walking 23 miles from Hampton Court to Albert Bridge. Please dig deep and give generously, its for a very good cause and for an extremely inspirational and amazing woman, all donations will go towards expenses and with your help and enough people donating, my Auntie Beulah will be able to continue her incredible journey to recovery.
