TEP is a teacher training organisation based in Uganda. It was started in 2013 by a group of teachers, teacher trainers and teacher trainees who saw the need for better quality teaching in Ugandan schools. It was reborn in 2017 with a new focus.

Our vision is a society with innovative, motivated, multi-skilled and passionate teachers providing a quality education.

Our mission is to build Ugandan teachers’ capacity to provide quality education through building a network, creating partnerships and providing quality training.

Over the last 6 months we’ve built a network of over 700 teachers, awarded 50 scholarships to the 1 Million Teachers programme and trained 23 teachers schools to use learner centred methods in the classroom, impacting the learning of almost 1000 students.

TEP has big plans for 2019! To achieve them we need to raise $7000. Here is a breakdown of the different activities and costs we have planned.
