Help save Tech Support and the families that it provides for.

Tech Support is a privately owned Automotive Workshop specializing in Repairs and Maintenance on BMW & MINI vehicles. I started my career in the Automotive Industry in 1995 at a BMW Dealership in Randburg South Africa. After 20 years in the BMW Dealer Network and qualifying as a BMW Master Diagnostic Technician as well as High Voltage Technician for Hybrid & Electric Vehicles I decided to start my own Workshop - Tech Support in 2018. The need for a highly qualified and experienced BMW & MINI workshop in our area and a loyal client base has ensured our survival since.

Tech Support is uniquely different to other Workshops in a number of ways:

We are a small Family owned and operated business where the name "Tech Support" is also what we strive for - Technical Support for vehicle owners in the true sense of the words and not just a "sausage factory" out to make a fortune at the expense of it's clients. We offer real individual attention to the clients as well as their vehicles. My wife and I are personally involved in each vehicle and client to support them in the repairs and maintenance as well as valued advice on an individual basis. As many of our clients can testify to.

I am the Owner, Manager and Technician at Tech Support and my wife is in charge of the Administrative Affairs, we also have one other employee, Maria, who takes care of Housekeeping. My wife, daughter and I depend solely on the revenue generated by Tech Support to sustain us financially and Maria being a single mother is also dependent on Tech Support for her family's financial well being. Tech Support is also involved in the support of two other families, one consisting of a pensioner and the other single mother with two dependents one of which is a disabled child, these families will also not be able to survive without support from us. A small business like ours is especially vulnerable to the current 35 day lock down that is being enforced in South Africa.

We have not been able to generate ANY income since the announcement of the lock down on March 23 2020 because all our bookings were cancelled by the clients after the announcement was made. This loss of income will continue until April 30 2020 when the lock down will hopefully be lifted and not extended any further. It will most certainly take some time for business to return to normal after the lock down is lifted before we will be able to generate a sufficient income to sustain our families again.

We are completely dependent on donations and loans during this period and thereafter and ask you to consider helping us in this time of great need to prevent Tech Support having to close it's doors leaving four families unsupported and potentially homeless. Your support in this campaign will be highly appreciated.
