Hi and Thank You for visiting our page. It is our aim to raise money to support Adventure Plus(A+) carry out their inspiring work with children and young people. We plan to do this by completing two challenges in 2015.

Challenge 1: Walk the 87 miles of The Ridgeway Trail in under 48 hours - May

• 87 miles (139 Km)
• Britain’s oldest road
• From Averbury, Wiltshire to Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire
• 2,258 m (7,408 ft) total ascent

Challenge 2: Complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours - August

• Ben Nevis (1,344m or 4,409ft) the highest mountain in Scotland
• Scafell Pike (978m or 3,209ft) the highest mountain in England
• Snowdon (1,085m or 3,560ft) the highest mountain in Wales
• Total distance wallked – approx 44km (27miles)
• Total ascent – 3,000m or 9,800ft Total driving distance – 462 miles
• ALL WITHIN 24 HOURS

Adventure Plus started from small beginnings as a youth work charity in 1990, to inspire young people to make positive life choices and embrace the adventure of life. A+ has grown significantly (600% since 2000) and now provides adventure youthwork to over 6,000 children and young people each year, all without a permanent adventure centre. Until Now!!

A+ are currently in process of securing the purchase of a new cutting edge adventure centre in Oxfordshire, providing exhilarating personal challenges set within an environment of genuine and generous hospitality. The AdventureBase will be pivotal in helping young people grow in confidence, discover that life is an adventure and be inspired to live it to the max.
