Hello, my name is Brittany and I need help paying off student loans. As a young person my goal was to attend college. I was going to go to college no matter what. My parents did not have the funds to pay for college and I did not qualify for financial aid. I was accepted to a D1 college on a partial scholarship for running track. I was an athlete, commuter student and worked a part time job and I struggled financially. Due to financial struggles I decided to take out loans. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After earning a Bachelors degree I went back to school for a teaching credential in Physical Education. It took several years before I landed a job as a Physical Educator. In those years waiting to land my dream job I decided to go back to school for a Masters Degree. I was accepted to a expensive private college. Out of ignorance I used student loans again to pay for my education. I love education, but unfortunately it has put me in a really bad spot. I love my job as a high school Physical education teacher, AVID teacher and track & field coach. I love that I get to work with our future. Teaching is not the most financial rewarding type of career, but it is my passion to reach as many young people as I can. My students mean the world to me and I would love to just teach without worrying about student loan payments taking half of my check. Thank you for your help!
