Campaign Story
For everyone reading this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and sincerely hope you can read through to the end. I am a young woman from Zimbabwe, aged 23. I moved to South Africa earlier this year in search for greener pastures.
I had a few dollars saved from my previous odd jobs to tide me over while I looked for work. It was risky, but the situation at home left no other option. After two months, I found a part time job with an Events' Company paying ZAR 30 per hour.
In order to expand my employment opportunities I have decided to pursue further education. Recently I applied for a diploma in Industrial Engineering at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and to my JOY, I was accepted a few days ago. However, I am unable to pay for my studies and would require US$1000 (or roughly ZAR 15000) for a study permit and registration funds. I appeal to you to kindly assist me in any way possible and I will gladly to share my academic reports with you each step of the way.
