"What do you want to be when you graduate," has been the constant topic of my junior year. I am Taren Odette and I would like the opportunity to see if engineering is the right career choice for me.

I am the youngest of my siblings. I have three step-brothers, and two step-sisters. My Dad works in the powdered metals industry at a factory. While my Mom is a stay-at-home mom. My family has always encouraged me to follow my dreams, however, we cannot afford all of my dreams.

I am a decent student with a 3.8 GPA. Right now I am taking Honors Algebra 2, Honors Chemistry, Honors Spanish 2, AP Government, English Language Arts 11, and Parenthood Education. This is my first year taking honors classes so it's been a struggle, but it's well worth it if I can better my future with these classes.

I would like to raise $700 to go to engineering camp at Kettering University in Flint. I am hoping this two week camp will help me decide my career choice. (I'm debating between foreign language and engineering).
