tale of 2 cities

Hi my name is Alina, I am in the sixth grade at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Catholic School in southern Indiana. I was nominated by my teachers to have an opportunity to go to London and Paris through the People to People program. I have been accepted by Poeple to Peole to repersent the U.S. as a student ambassador to go and learn about their culture and Government and how it differs from ours and how we can learn from each other to change the world and make a better place for all of us.

I will be visiting and learning the history of places like the London Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, an old castle, Big Ben as well as the Parliament and other government activities for two weeks I'm there to mention a a few.

I am looking forward to this great opportunity to further my education and learn firsthand things that can't be taught out of a book.

My trip is rather expensive, so I am taking my Christmas, birthday, and any extra money i may get to put towards this trip, as well as other fund raisers I can come up with. My tuition for this trip will cost around $6,000.00 which includes all meals and trips fees so; i am asking for any for any help that you can give me. People to People is a nonprofit organisation so any donations are tax deductable. Also if you give a donation of $100.00 or more I will send you a free People to People Traditions of Peace cookbook, all I need is an address to send it too.

My goal is to be fully funded by May as we leave in mid June 2014
