My name is Stephanie Tanner and I am a part-time Taekwon-Do instructor with the UKTC (United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Council) in Scotland.
I have been selected as part of the team to represent Scotland at the 2014 European Championships in Minsk, Belarus.
This is a huge privilege and is an exciting opportunity to represent my country at a major Taekwon-Do event. Last year I also has the honour of being selected as part of the team that Represented Scotland at the World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.
However, to be able to attend this event in Minsk it will cost approximately £1200.
At last year's event I was a member of the team that won bronze at the special technique event. I would appreciate any contribution that could be made towards helping me in my goal to achieve more than a bronze this year. So please help me do Scotland proud and come home with medals.
In the past 15 months I have won
- 4 Gold medals
- 4 Silver medals
- 1 Bronze medal
- Best Adult Female Black Belt Trophy - Chang Ung Cup 2013
- Best Adult Female Colour Belt Trophy - Chang Ung Cup 2012
I will be doing a sponsored cycle from Paisley to Newark Castle on the 2nd of March. 24 has a lot of meaning in Taekwon-Do as well as being my age, that's why I choose this distance.
On the 16th March I will be running a 10K from Prolife Fitness Centre and Gym to Refrew, along with a few members of the gym, so please make a donation towards my effort.
