T.C.E.P Backpack Project 2

Homelessness has increased for three consecutive years, partly because of housing shortages and cuts to benefits with an estimated 185,000 people a year now affected in England. Our aim is to raise enough funds to make up as many backpacks as we can. Each containing necessities needed for a long, cold winter on the streets, Including, warm clothing, food, Information on local shelters, blankets and even thermos flask of hot soup.

EACH BACKPACK WILL CONTAINS ITEMS SUCH AS:

• A pair of woolly winter gloves
• A pair of Thermal socks
• Either: Hat and scarf, or a Snood
• Fleece blanket
• Thermos Flask containing hot soup
• Two pairs of 8hour hand warmers
• Food items
• Wash Kit

With our winters getting increasingly bitter each year, coupled with the major increase of homelessness, now is the time we do something to help.

So together, let’s make someone’s winter a little more bearable. Let’s give someone a smile and "warm hugs".
