Hi. Good day! We would like to ask help because my uncle, Joselito Buenviaje, had a hemorrhagic stroke last Saturday. He’s currently confined at St. Clare Medical Center because this was the nearest hospital with less COVID cases which will make him safe due to his condition. Since Saturday, he is unstable. His blood pressure is fluctuating (lowest: 100/60 highest when rushed to ER: 250 systolic; highest currently in the ICU: 180/80), he had series last night too wherein his heart rate is at 187 and has a on and off fever (but now consistent high fever). We were advised that he needs a surgery, Craniotomy wherein they needed to remove the blood in his brain which is the effect of ruptured blood vessels. This is the only way to somehow control his blood pressure. We were asked if we can afford the surgery minimum amount of P500,000. Honestly speaking, we don’t have enough capacity to pay the hospital bills and the surgery. As of now the running bill is already at P320,786.92. We wanted to have the surgery to help him, but we cannot raise the fund (today is the 4th day of his confinement in the ICU) We’re the only family he has, his father is already 84 years old. Also my uncle has no wife and no children. Three siblings: all doesn’t have the capacity to pay for the bills. The cost of treatment is so high that his family and loved ones alone cannot afford. I humbly request you for a contribution of any amount that will go a long way towards reaching this targeted amount to save my uncle. Thank you so much.
