Campaign Story
I am the founder of an organization called Surfpop. Our aim is to establish a way out for children from disadvantaged communities, leading them away from gangsterism, crime and drugs. The ‘way out’ entails a new outlook on life, brought about by the love for surfing and the ocean. There is a need for people to help children in struggling communities, as they are faced with problems far greater than most of us can imagine.
Right now we are need of some funds to repair surfboards and wetsuits that have been donated to us. We are collaborating with a local shaper, Caution, who is originally from Zimbabwe and trying to support him to help him grow his business and get some exposure.
Your donations will not only help us get more kids in the water but it will also help Caution.
