For family, friends, and open hearts.
Peyton Mae Hubal was born May 1, 2015, absolutly perfect. The fourth and final addition to complete the family. It didn't take her long to capture everyones heart. A total joy just to be near her! Two older sisters Jillian and Chloe, and a protective older brother Will, always by her side to lend a loving hand. Just what Johnny Hubal and Lindsey-Corns Hubal wanted, a happy, bright brown eyed girl that loved every adventure we pursued.
January 8th 2017 Peyton started the day with a runny nose that quickly turned into a croup cough that didn't end. After a weeks worth of prednisone to clear "croup", she was taken back to her Pediatrician. Peyton's coloring was pale along with carrying a high fever. Labs were drawn the morning of January 27th, at 2:30 pm we received a phone call her hemoglobin 5.4 and white blood cell count of 2. So, as instructed, we rushed straight to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Peyton had a bone marrow biopsy on Jan 30th and a day later was diagnosed with Pre B ALL leukemia. Ours lives were forever changed!!
Peyton will start Chemotherapy immediately and if all goes well will be able to go home in 1-2 weeks. However, childhood Leukemia requires very extensive chemotherapy, treatments and followups that typically last 2 1\2 years. We have lots of Love & Support in place through Friends and Family to help lift some of the burden the family is going through. We know Lindsey and Johnny are very much looking forward to the day when the whole family can be Home together again. The last thing we want them to worry about is the financial stress that comes from medical expenses. We hope together we can help with some of the financial burden as a result of the extensive treatments needed for baby Peyton.
Please send Prayers for Peyton & her Family to stay strong and keep their spirits high throughout the coming months as she undergoes treatment.
