Support our Veterans

My husband and I are both combat veterans. My husband is a purple heart recipient from one of 7 deployments in Iraq, Bosnia and Afghanistan which qualified him for a loan that would be guaranteed by the federal government and if for any reason the business fails, 90% of the loan will be paid by the government. We want to start a business to help improve our community and neighboring communities by providing jobs and sponsoring after school programs/summer programs to help the kids in our communities stay out of trouble. Our goal is to get our local law enforcement, teachers, doctors, lawyers, business owners, local military and veterans to inform our kids the necessary steps to become successful in their chosen careers. We plan on implementing some organizations "Walk a Mile" and the military "Right Seat Ride"program where kids can spend the day with someone in the profession they are interested in or want to experience. We believe these programs will help our kids stay out of trouble and will help improve their self esteem by interacting with other kids and with professionals in their career fields. These programs will encourage kids to set goals for their future. We have both sat in the front seat and no firsthand what it's like for a veteran trying to find employment and being unsuccessful. What it's like for no employer to give you an opportunity . We also know what it's like for someone to finally give you that opportunity . We want to start a Hawaiian Coffee Lounge to help veterans and their families improve quality of life and family by providing employment opportunities, sponsorships, grants, and scholarships. We plan to improve our community and neighboring communities by providing jobs and sponsoring after school programs/summer programs to help the kids in our communities stay on the path to success. We have pinched and saved as much as we can but have not meet the goal needed to procure a loan. We are a registered C-Corp but haven't been able to get any further.
