About us:

Sharetings is founded by a team of students who wish to make giving easy. We believe that everyone have unwanted items at a certain point of our life. It could be textbook, clothings, shoes or other items. Some of us try to sell it away while some of us dump it. Sharetings is a platform that aims to provide a solution for givers to give away their unwanted items and for receivers to receive these items for FREE. In today's society, there are a lot of low income families that cannot afford basic necessities. Let’s give instead if throwing!

Our cause:

Save the environment by re-channeling usable resource to beneficiaries.

Help people to get free items. Especially the low income families.

Result so far has been great. Our team has also forked out our own savings in developing a MVP application which is scheduled to be released in December. Here are some of the screenshots:

Purpose of fund raising:

The main purpose of fund raising is to upgrade our application to a full fledged application. The current application has limitations and we would like to enhance our platform so as to allow more users to come on board to share their things!

Another purpose is to campaign our cause! We are looking to organise a few roadshows to educate the public on giving and also to raise awareness of our platform.

All funds will be accounted for in an excel workbook.
