We are a group of friends based in Budapest who volunteer to help Ukrainian refugees fleeing to our city.
The Budapesti Piarista Gimnazium organizes daily free classes for Ukrainian refugee kids, so they can study, play, and do sports in the first part of the day while their parents have some time to figure out how to start their new life in Budapest.
We help this initiative by raising money for Ukrainian tutors and assistants, who are also refugees and to finance hot meals for the children.
So far we collected funding for one tutor for one month but with your help, we could support more refugee teachers, take more refugee kids and continue this initiative for a longer period of time.
We collect money in HUF because we live in Hungary and we will spend money in Hungary. For your convenience, we specify the approximate exchange rate:
5000 Ft = 13.5 Euro
10 000 Ft = 27 Euro
100 000 Ft = 270 Euro
(Your bank's exchange rate may vary)
