Summer Dance Intensive with Leon Dance Arts NY

Hello! My name is Milan and, as my friends and family know, I love to dance more than anything!  I am currently a freshman at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (one of only fifty students chosen from at least two hundred that auditioned).

Recently, I auditioned to study this summer at Léon Dance Arts NY in New York.  When I learned that I had been accepted, I was ecstatic!  

Léon Dance Arts NY is a three-week professional dance program that is one of a kind.  While most summer programs focus mostly on classical ballet only, Léon trains dancers in classical and contemporary ballet, Broadway, contemporary and street jazz, modern, improvisation, hip hop and ballroom.  Plus, I have the opportunity to be trained by some of the most prestigious dancers and choreographers in the country!

Unfortunately, I'm learning that training in New York is expensive!  For me to attend this program, it will cost over $5,100.  This amount includes tuition, housing, a meal plan, a required chaperone fee, airfare to and from New York and daily transportation while in New York.
