Hello , I am reaching out for help because my husband Tim who is only 54 yrs old, was diagnosed March 7, 2016 , with End Stage Kidney Disease. If we had not arrived at the hospital ER the day before, he would not be alive..his kidneys were only functioning 18%. His lab work was so out of whack it took 4 days to get them back in a reasonable state. He had 1 to 2 bags of iron a day and then had to have blood. His blood pressure was outrageously high also. And his white count. He came home from the hospital on Friday and by the next Friday we were back at the ER again and by night, he was readmitted again. More iron, more blood more worries. He is getting dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours each time. Our medical bills have reached $75000.00 easily. The dialysis alone is $30,000 for one month. To go along with this, I am disabled with spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease, living below poverty level. My roof needs shingles real bad. We have had a lot of wind and I can see them flying off. Normally Tim would take care of it. My front porch needs replacing, before it falls in with someone. I gave my livingroom suite to Goodwill, and before I could get another one, this happens. I just want to get our home fixed up and make him as comfortable as possible. Thank you!
