Students Need Computers and Internet under COVID19

Please help me raise finds to secure computers and internet tech for the students's distance learning during this Covid-19 crisis.

My friend in work in a school in Turkey and I heard the story how impoverished
the kid's family are and can't even afford a single computer.

I am raising $20,000 for electronic devices for school kids in the village of Eastern Anatolia in Turkey. Due to the Covid (the situation in Turkey is worsening and the actual situation is far serious than we can expect), kids there are forced to stay at home and do the online lessons rather than face to face teaching.

Many of these school kids are without computers or basic internet access to support them in distance learning. Without these tools, these children will not be able to join the classes, they will be further marginalized and could slip behind in their learning schedule.

Most of the kids there are from low income families and they are uncultured and don't realize how important education is to a primary school kid.
Even their families are aware how important education is, but they don’t have funds for buying the computer and thus support their kids on distance learning.

With the quarantine, school is closed and so are the libraries, the electronic tools to support their learning is far more important than other needs. By providing a basic computer, we can help these kids through these difficult times and keep their chance of learning alive.

I know most people here do have a certain economic ability. The situation in the village I heard is way worse than WE could imagine. It is one of the hardest hit areas in the nation.
