Multimillionaire Kanye West is $53 million USD in debt, and he wants us to bail him out. What about those of us who are just regular people going through life, trying to achieve our dreams.
I am a volunteer overseas. I owe $175,000 in student loan debt. I am "overqualified" for jobs back in the States, so I chose to volunteer overseas since I could not find a job or a volunteer position stateside.
Yes, I am an idiot for taking out that much in student loan debt. Yes, it is my responsibility. Yes, I know just how screwed I am. Yes, I believe it is ridiculous to ask people to help monetarily for a mistake you are responsible for.... makes about as much sense as a multimillionaire asking regular people to donate $53,000,000 to his bank account.
