Student Commune

This is a pretty ambitious campaign but if enough people can back this up, it can be done! What I aim to do is purchase land in a close enough area to San Diego county and set up a mix of Yurts, Tiny Homes, Strawbale homes, and Earthbag homes that can show how various alternative housing can be a reality for some people. Also, part of the aim is to make some of these dwellings available to nearby students each semester for free provided they are full time and maintain a certain grade point average. In exchange for the free living, students can help build more dwellings during free time, or help set up gardens, water plants so a readily available source of food is nearby. The reason I wanted to do this was to create a space for students to study and be worry free so they can focus on doing well in school rather than spend all their time working a low paying job for next to nothing.
