What is the Parkour Park

Parkour is a worldwide training which is also known as freerunning. It can be easily understood by imagining urban gymnastics. The problem in today’s world is that most playgrounds do not offer a wide range of creativity for children to have fun and stay fit. Parkour is the newest movement of any of modern society activity and with the training growing so fast, and gyms being unaffordable for some families and individuals, our next best idea would be a Parkour Park. Building parks would be by far in our opinion, the best way to keep kids active in today’s society to stay healthy physically, and build creativity mentally.

Idea

I cannot elaborate too much concerning what the parks will offer to protect the plan from potential thieves who only want to use this as a money get up instead of giving back to the community. Our goal is building this for strictly non-profit purposes and to continue raising money to build more parks throughout the country. I will say the park will have various equipment similar to gymnastics with an urban environment twist accompanied by padded areas to protect the kids. In addition it will still have sections a traditional park would have such as swing sets.

Location

Location has been set to be near Lancaster Township, PA and Philadelphia, PA as the starting ground. Sorry if it is not of convenient distance to you but our goal is to continue to build these parks throughout the country. Please help us make a positive change and strengthen or future in communities.

Future

The goal is to raise enough money to build this park and when all goes well, to expand across country to provide creative environments for our future. This will really create attractions in cities, offer a style and creativity for our youth, help keep kids out of trouble, and utilize any empty or ugly spaces in your neighborhood for the better.
