Campaign Story
Our neighbor found two tiny, malnourished and sick kittens near his house and brought them to us. We've cleaned them up and have been feeding them and treating them with herbal home remedies. We haven't taken them to the shelter because we know that with overcrowding this time of year, these kittens wouldn't stand a chance in that environment. They are looking better and better every day, but still have a long way to go before they'll be ready to find their forever homes.
Kitten A is black and white, Kitten B is all black. Kitten A prompted us to start feeding them their formula in a small cup rather than a bottle when it bit the end off of a kitten nursing nipple and swallowed it. Both kittens are very sweet & affectionate and eating rather well. Kitten B got the hang of the litter box very quickly, but A did not and preferred to eat the litter. We switched them to using paper litter we use for the rabbit for now.
We have a household full of animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens) and have hit our financial limit already. We are asking for help funding the care of these kittens so we can continue to nurse them to health and get them ready to find their new homes. A minimum of $250 would pay for basic vet visits & vaccinations. Beyond that would go towards more indepth vet care, microchipping, kitten food, etc. Any little bit you are able to contribute would help.
