This helps prevent soil degradation and erosion which can help in the fight against climate change. Donations are used to purchase small plots of land, and trees, as well as the materials to maintain the new trees on the land. This includes nutrient rich soil as well as water delivery methods and temporary fencing to protect the new vegetation. Using the appropriate types of trees and vegetation is the foundation of the program. We use plants that naturally deposit nutrients into the soil, and group plant species that work together to share available resources while maximizing growth, and protecting the environment.
