Standing strong in the face of lupus

I was diagnosed with lupus when I was 20 years old. Since that day I have been struggling with my health. Now I am 35 years old and my condition has worsened. my health was getting better but since I couldnt afford the medication I had to stop buying it. And since I stopped consuming the medication I fell into a crisis and when I went to the hospital my doctor told me that the pills that I was drinking were consuming my joints and that I needed a joint replacement as soon as possible, because if not I am not going to be able to walk. A joint replacement cost between $31,839 and $44,816 dollars. I have to spend most of the time in bed because my joints are always swollen and this doesn%92%92t allow me to walk. I have also lost all my hair and I get fatigued easily because when I take deep breaths I get horrible chest pain .But the worst of all is that I am not able to work to support my family because I cant go out during the day. lupus has caused my skin to be sensitive to the sunlight. I had 3 kids Hectori and Eriani who were twins, and Maria the smallest. Hectori and Eriani were twins but a year ago Eriani died of lupus when she was 7 years old. We all were devastated because of her loss. But my wife and I had hide our feelings because Hectori and Maria were going through a hard time too and they had to understand that their sister was in a better place with God and that she was never coming back. I really need the financial help to get the joint replacement surgery done so I can be able to walk and have a normal life.
