Special Needs Children’s School & NPO needs YOUR support.

Dear Madam / Sir,

The Living Vine (NPO 158-102) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930052593) operating in the Table View and Parklands area in the Western Cape, Cape Town. We are making a difference in the lives of Special Needs children in the community, more specifically the Educational section called The Learning Vine of the NPO.

We run an Independent School called The Learning Vine for children Grade R-12 who can’t cope in the mainstream and for those with Special Needs. We currently have approximately 110 children in our school.

Our Children come to The Learning Vine because they were/are:
a) Badly bullied at their previous school;
b) Learning challenges;
c) Special needs such as autism; ADHD; Anxiety and many more
d) Family circumstances;
e) They are too old to complete their primary education and can’t start their secondary education
f) Parents cannot afford to pay fees for specialised education their child might need;
h) There are no other education institutions in the area who meet their child’s needs and who will not accept them because of their needs;
i) They are too old for their Grade level and as a result state schools will not admit them;
j) They have never attended a school or had a traumatic past with abuse and do not fit into a mainstream environment.

Our School is in desperate need of funding and most importantly a mini-bus taxi/van to transport our children to and from aftercare and school outings., school desks & chairs our children to and from aftercare and school outings.
