We are hitting the road in an RV and visiting all of the Florida State and National Parks reporting on their conditions, what's available in the area, where to go to get what you need while you are traveling, recording our adventures on our website with pictures and videos for you to view and comment on. Along the way we will be creating a Southern Women's Camping Cookbook that we will publish in eBook form near the end of our journey. This cookbook will contain the recipes that we have gathered and tried on our journey, some pictures of us cooking, fishing, going to local flea markets and some stories of our misadventures along the way.
Our state and national parks are on the verge of being shut down and that would be a crying shame. Most of these parks serve as an inexpensive, restful and fun place to take your family and enjoy the great outdoors. We want to encourage everyone to take a week or weekend out of their lives and visit these natural wonders in your area. Yes, the economy is in the tank and there are so many things that need our attention but we think the State and National Parks should be updated, fully-staffed and maintained. These places are where you can take your friends and family to have a good time without having to pay a whole lot of money. Most of them have very reasonable admission rates and the parks with RV camping facilities have hot showers, electricity, water and sewer disposal all for the low price of $16 to $28 a day. And if the person doing the reservations is over 65 you get a 50% discount. You can't beat that deal with a stick.
My mom, my youngest daughter and myself will be traveling in an old RV. I am homeschooling my daughter and we will be relying on mobile wireless for her lessons, updating our websites with our reviews, and keeping our craft business going. We will be reporting on "WORKAMPING" opportunities as we find them. There is a National trend of new retirees and even younger families selling all there stuff and buying a travel trailer or RV and hitting the road. This lifestyle is not for everyone but it may be a way for you and yours to get out of your rut and see America! We will be giving you updated information about this trend and we be a resource for those who are traveling around the State of Florida. And should we survive the journey we will branch out next year to other states!
Finally, we will be creating a FUN AND INFORMATIVE DVD of our adventures that should be ready for sale by next June. On the DVD will be the Top 10 Best and Worst State Parks in Florida, some outtakes from our reviews, bloopers and much more. Some of our contributors here will be sent a private link to preview the movie before it is released on DVD
We need your help getting started. We have some funding in place but we need a boost to get started. Clarification of Purpose

We have a Workamping assignment beginning July 1st at a National Park in Florida. All we need is enough money to get us through until my retirement kicks in. Unfortunately, that is our goal amount. That will. . . . .
