South African Edventure

Hello!

In June of this year, I will be going to South Africa with Edventure International for three weeks to perform humanitarian and conservation work in rural communities. Edventure International is an Australian based organization that focuses on international volunteer programs that are aimed at helping local communities in Thailand, Costa Rica, Cambodia and South Africa, while also helping the participants in the programs to develop leadership skills and discover the inner strengths necessary to continue benefiting their local communities.

During the first week, we will be teaching children about basic health techniques, elementary education, and much more. Along with that, we’ll be constructing school houses and beds for the orphanages, and learning different tribal dialects. Throughout the second week, we will focus more on conservation work by going on safaris and teaching the locals about how to deal with and protect wildlife. In the third week, we will be exploring South Africa by participating in high adventure activities, going into the cities, spending the night with different tribes, and so much more.

To be able to participate in this incredible mission trip, there are fees that need to be paid. These will cover my transportation, lodging, food, and equipment for the volunteer work that we will be doing. Will you help me by sponsoring me to go to South Africa this summer?
