Source of hope

So many hopeful pairs of eyes who just want to find a home, which means safety for them, and like most of their peers, they can finally belong to a loving family where they can live their lives happily.

Heart sinks to see how many bored, abandoned, homeless animals there are, and on the other hand, it brings some comfort and reassurance that these animals, who can do nothing, are safe and in good hands.

One of our biggest dreams is to buy the land under the shelter, so that we don’t end up in that vulnerable situation with the many dogs under our care, literally pulling the ground out from under our feet. Next to everyday care, this is currently the highest priority. We have to find a way to buy the land.

In 2022, we were able to help 320 dogs. This year, since the first of January 2023, we have been enriched with another 53 dogs, from very tiny puppies a few weeks old to old, sick dogs, and this number is increasing almost every day.

All dogs are vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, and the sterilized as soon as possible. On a monthly basis, medical care thus amounts to 6000 euros .

For us, we are talking about huge sums and unfortunately it is very difficult to solve daily problems without help.
