Son’s Birthday Wish Before Surgery

Our 16 year old son Conner was diagnosed last year with a disorder known as Neurofibromatosis Type 2. He has both brain and spinal tumors. Although benign, these can cause damage to his nerves. He has lost vision in one eye which is how it was discovered. Every 6 months he goes for MRI's to monitor growth. So far, so good. But in December it was discovered that one on his spine has changed and they want to try and remove it. Surgery is scheduled for Feb 8. For his 16th birthday this past Nov, his wish was us to take him and 2 of his friends to the Great Wolf Lodge. While we have been trying to save up for it, we just can't afford it at this time. Rooms are limited now and we just have 2 weekends left before his surgery. If you can help, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We would like to see him have a great time to relieve the stress from all of us, even if for a day. Any money that we do not use at the lodge will be donate to our family fund with the Children's Tumor Foundation. The video above is about our doctor. We were asked to be in it.
