son dream of college

I am trying to raise money to be able to send my son to college. He has been turned down for grants, and any other help. He wants to attend a community college. I only been married 1 year to my husband and he is not my son's dad. They based the income status on the combined income. We missed it by a 100.00. My husband feels as he is not responsable for my son's college. I don't have the money needed to send hem. My son's dad died when he was not even born yet. He drowned on a shrimp boat. They never found his body. The family refused to declair hem dead. My son got nothing from this all his life. I had to work to support hem. I have 4 kids. My son wanted to be in the medical field since he was little. When his grandpa got cancer. He saw how he was treated at the end of life. Ever since my son want to go for respiratory therapist. I can't afford it, and we have to have the payment for the 15th of Aug. 2013. I am trying very hard to be able to do this. I have worked very hard my whole life to suport my kids. I had to use my saving to buy my trailor, coming out of a bad divorce. I am at my wit end. I don't know what to do. I hate to see hem not be able to go. I beg for any help.
