Situated in a women's shelter, Azria is caught in between separated parents during the Christmas Season.

Hi! We are Broadcast Media students from Lasalle College of The Arts and we are embarking on our final year project.

About the Film

Our Vision

These are our visual references for how the film will look and feel. We see a whole different world from Azria’s perspective, a world that is full of rules and restrictions. It is up close, intimate, and sometimes it can even feel claustrophobic when the frame is occupied, mirroring how Azria feels inside. We want to show the urgency of a teenager trying to find her place in a broken family.

Our goal is to reveal the realities of another side to Singapore, a place full of different individuals with unique dreams, who have to build everything from scratch. Raising awareness on the effects of divorce on children, and how it may lead to homelessness, is what the film is about.

Can You Still Donate After Reaching Our Goal?

Of course! Our initial goal of $3500 is the minimum amount we need to make Sometimes You Go Places a reality, but any further contribution will directly increase the quality of our film across every stage and every department of production.

Casting, Set Design and Locations are going to be our biggest expenses.

We want to ensure that the cast and crew are well taken care of as we also follow strict Covid-19 protocols.
