Acts of Kindness in Peru

Hi, thanks for considering to donate to my project!

My dad and I will be going to Cusco, Peru for 2-weeks in July to provide assistance in a range of environments – community centers, day care centers, after school programs, and recreational centers.

I will be working at a childcare center. I will assistance locals by giving children personalized attention, educational support, and teaching life skills such as hygiene and cooking. Many children at the volunteer locations do not receive the level of affection and education that they deserve. In addition, the homes in Cusco do not have heat, reliable drinking water, or proper plumbing. The children are effected every day by the town they live in and the conditions of their homes. I am so excited to share my love for teaching and children to different continents! I hope to impact these children from three-years old to high schoolers during my short time in Peru.

My dad will be working in construction and renovation. This project takes place at schools, community centers, and recreational facility. This will help buildings that are under-funded, run-down, and in need of renovation work. He hopes to make the community look beautiful.

My dad and I will be living with a host family while in Peru and living just like a real Peruvian. We are lucky and humbled to have an opportunity to help those less fortunate. This will not only change the lives of others, but also our lives!
