Solidus Gaming’s Fundraiser

Solidus Gaming is a new Video Game Media/Press website. We're trying to get our feet off the ground by adding a few website upgrades and ideas to really get us going. Which is what brought us to gogetfunding.com. With help from followers, Gamers, and pledges, we can really start to make our name known in the gaming world and begin out long process of being a creditable source for gamers and geeks alike to congregate and show their passions of technology and everything gaming.

We've already done our part to reach out to companies and developers in the Press aspect. Now we just need a little help from YOU!

Just to name a few, we are on the Press List for the Following Companies:

• 2Dawn Games + More!

With your help, we hope to increase our list greatly and continue to bring our fans the stories and content THEY like!

Our project is simple. We're looking for backers and pledges to make our site finally whole. If we are successful, we plan to use the money to make substantial upgrades to the site to make it more appealing to the eye, and more user friendly to our audience. With your help, we can make the site to the liking of the population, and not just the hosts/admins.

Our goal, is to write reviews and host content that people really have an open opinion about. A place where they can put in their voices and be heard by a staff that sees themselves on the same level of their viewers. We are regular gamers and people just like you and don't see ourselves above you, so we don't write biased reviews about AAA titles. If we think a game, or device is terrible, we will let you know. And in return, we would like YOU, to let us know what you think as well.

If this project is successful we will be upgrading the following:

• Website Hosting - Dedicated Servers for better reliability and stability.
• Upgraded Forums - vBulletin for the Cleanest Forum Experience.
• Paid Advertising - To further reach out and increase the population of the site.
• Game Capture Device/Software - For our video reviews, Streaming & Let's Play segments.
• Beginning the Solidus Podcast Project - Get the Podcast ball rolling with upgrades to recording devices and software.
• Other Updates to the community such as site merchandise (Shirts, stickers, landyards etc.) for events such as NYCC.

We came to the Go Get Funding community because we saw how some of the projects on here can be TRUE Cinderella stories for some projects out there. We've seen a few turn arounds in your community and we would like to be one of them.

Most of us aren't rich or have a Gajillon dollars just to give away to funds and programs like those on Go Get Funding. But, by just being able to click a mouse, or even just talking to a friend, YOU CAN HELP!
