SoDakSAR Team

SoDakSAR:  Our mission is to provide, without cost, trained search-and-rescue K-9 teams to the Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Fire Departments or other official search agencies in South Dakota and surrounding communities, to assist them in their efforts to locate the lost and missing.  

We currently have two (2) K9 Teams (Jennifer and K9 Minka / DaNiel and K9 Zar) who are working towards certification in Air Scent and Trailing, respectively.  However, in order to become certified, we must travel to trainings and testing.   We hope to raise funds to travel, attend a National American Police Work Dog Association training and participate in certification at the end of the workshop.   Funds will be used for workshop registration and certification fees, with any remaining to help offset travel expenses for the trip.
