Inzingane Festival (Deaf Children) hosted by SociGO NPC

We had hosted about 450 deaf children from all 7 Deaf schools in Gauteng in 2018 that took part of the festival at the Deaf school and was taught with our famous international artist from all over the world for 3 days. The lives of these children (ages 6-17 years) were changed dramatically and they left the festival feeling inspired and delighted. We would like to bring this festival to Cape Town and duplicate the same experiences for 350 - 450 Deaf children to be part of the Inzigane Festival in 2020.

Our mission is to uphold communication access in a signing environment and to increase the awareness of Deaf culture and its sign language through performing arts, music and films and enhancing their life by providing workshops or training.

SOCIGO is a non-profit company, we are totally dependent on grants, fundraisers, donations and sponsorships. We do not receive any government funding which makes the existence and continuance of this much needed project quite challenging.Any sponsorship will assist us in being able to offer this service to our deaf community.

We are looking forward to your donation in making a huge difference in the lives of everyone around us that will be part of our amazing unique events in South Africa.
