Social Work in South Africa

Hello,

I am currently in graduate school getting my Master's in Social Work and have been given the opportunity to go to Cape Town, South Africa. The course is Social Justice/Social Work Global Learning through Community and NGO Immersion and Internships. My university is partnering with EducoAfrica (www.educo.org.za) and we will be staying in the Black and Coloured townships of Cape Town. I have the opportunity to tailor my learning experience to the area I am interested in such as Youth, Women Issues or Health. There is also a wilderness component that will help lay a foundation for understanding local and global issues as well a home stay component.

Please help me in reaching my goal! I would love nothing more then to have this opportunity to learn more about international social work

I have already borrow the maximum amount of loans I am allowed to pay for tuition and living expenses so I need YOUR help! I need to cover the course and airfare costs and your donation will be going directly to these costs.
