Campaign Story
My name is Ayanda Kela a small business owner currently employing 4 youth in the disadvantaged community of Soweto in Gauteng. We have closed our doors during the Covid-19 as we do not form part of the essential services and I have depleted my savings to pay salaries and rent for my business which might result in the business closing post Covid. I have tried applying for relief with no success as I do not meet most of the requirements. I could not afford an accountant as a small business just scrapping by and I have no UIF as one of the main requirements. Any form of assistance would be highly appreciated to help keep our doors open post Covid and to keep helping my staff who are from disadvantaged backgrounds and depend on me fully.
