slipped disk

My wife has been living with back pain fo a couple years now and now she needs surgery to fix the problem. She has a slipped disk and torn muscles around her spine. We both work 5-6 days a week but the bills are becoming to much to handle even with insurance. The doctor will wave part of his fee that helps alot but we will still have to pay $12000 out of pocket to make her better, this doesn't include the follow up visits, time missed from work and the bills we already have. I sure over time I can handle these on my own. We really need to get this done soon.It hasn't gotten to where she can't walk yet but she is starting to feel nerve pain down the front of her legs where it was just the back of the legs before.

She does'nt know I trying this but I am at an impass I know it has to be done and i really don't want to file chapter 11 or something that extreme.
