MISSION:  Promoting Positivity in the Community Through Acts of Kindness and Charity!

Simple Empowerment has been formed with the vision to continuously help those in need without a main focus on only one charitable cause.  By rotating between sources of need in the community, we can reach out and make a difference that will help balance the society in which we live.   Not only will Simple Empowerment provide for those in need, it will educate and empower members on how to live more fulfilled lives based upon resources readily available, such as bartering services, gardening, skilled crafting and making smart financial decisions.   

FUNDING GOAL:  Raising money to jumpstart this charity will help us reach the community quicker!

Funds are needed to hire an attorney to help prepare the appropriate documents to become a non-profit corporation and to secure a location for our first fundraiser.  In the future, we hope to be able to move into a warehouse facility where we may store and organize goods and services we will provide and to be able to hold meetings among members who wish to work with us to reach the community. 

DREAMS AND VISIONS OF HELPING THOSE IN NEED!

There is never a shortage of reasons to become charitable.  We endeavor to embark upon at least four great projects per year while running continuous smaller projects.  Some of the projects will include:

• Backpacks for newly placed foster children that will include new underwear, socks, pajamas, a book and a stuffed animal 
• Diaper and formula pantries for families facing an unexpected event that leaves them temporarily unable to purchase these staples
• Urban gardening and crop sharing amongst members and volunteers
• A Bartering Bank where members can exchange their services
• A Teen Club allowing teenagers a safe place to come together and have fun while earning volunteer hours
