Simone’s Volunteer Trip to Ecuador

Hello everyone :)

I am going to volunteer in the "Street Children Work" project as a NGO Support in Quito, Ecuador for 3 weeks from July, 15th until August, 2nd. The purpose of this project is to provide children working on the streets in Quito with the opportunity to receive education, as well as some enjoyment in their lives. As an NGO support, I have two main duties: I will assist the organization with operational tasks to enable them to widen their reach and help more children and I will be working with children, assisting in providing basic school lessons and introducing the kids to new activities and games.

I am going to participate in this program with the organization "International Volunteer HQ". I will have to pay a registration fee of 300 USD and a program fee of 500 USD. I will also have to pay for the flights, which cost around 900 USD in total. Moreover, I have to pay for the travel insurance. As all in all it adds up to around 2000 USD, it would be great to get a little support for this volunteer trip.
