Logline:

A resentful teen girl has to come to terms with her late grandmother or risk being disconnected with her family.

Synopsis:

After witnessing her grandmother’s passing, YuTing struggles to remember the good memories that she had with her grandmother before she became senile. Her seeming indifference to her grandmother’s death, though unintentional, has put YuTing at risk of alienating her father. She will have to face her true feelings and step out of her bubble to remember the treasured bond that she and her grandmother shared, in order to finally come to terms with her grandmother’s death and reconnect with her father.

Unique Selling Point

Touching on the generational gap; it’s differences between family members & inspired by a personal experience, bringing a sense of authenticity.

As each generation gap presents itself with its own beliefs and idealogy. The film will showcase the friction between family members where they stand for what they believe in and factors in traditional Chinese culture of respecting your elders.

This film also comes from personal experience, therefore there will be a greater realistic feel to the story even though it has been exaggerated, the layers that come with the character will be more relatable to the audiences than fictional characters.
