Short $1100 at Harvard….. Need to Make Tuition

Hello,

My name is Kevin Reed. As I posted on Facebook, I am writing I am raising funds for my tuition here at Harvard in the next 48 hours. Funds gained will be used toward education in the following order:

• Pay for my semester
• Pay for books

Anything in excess

• Pay in tithes/offering
• Pay for living expenses
• Start a tuition fund for 100 black men to attend Harvard Extension School
• Anything else will be saved or invested for future tuition

While I wish I could take out student loans my current admission status does not allot for it under the Department of Education. As well as my employment status has been an obstacle to gaining a private loan. My mom who is mentally ill is my dependent and my father passed so a parental cosigning is not feasible. While I know I could sit out of school this semester, I wish to persevere in spite of in order to show others like me with a goal of higher education that if they are creative they too can find the solution of these inevitable momentary obstacles. I urge you all if you can to contribute and if we spill over then let’s work on the next set of young men that wish to make a difference in their community tuition. I thank you all for donating.
