The Share the love-Feed a Soul Campaign was set up after watching 3 street children squat down to share 1 portion of food that i had packed as left-overs from dinner, i was almost in tears as the food wasn't much to talk about but it made me realize that people living on the street are rarely having much to eat as well wishers are becoming fewer with the current economic crisis in Zimbabwe. They are then forced to resort to robbery, pick-pocketing and other petty crimes to meet this basic need. A hungry person will do anything for food.
I made up my mind that i would provide a meal a day for these children daily from the meager resources that i had in my pantry so that they too would have at least 1 decent meal a day. The Campaign is run purely on the passion to help the less fortunate and vulnerable members within the society so that we can share our love with them, as they also need someone to care for them, they are human too.
The main aim is set up a permanent soup kitchen where the people can come and eat, with time the introduction of life skills will be introduced so that they can have an education and be able to empower themselves and ultimately live a better quality life.
