Campaign Story
In today's job market I have found it diffucult to gain employment. Unfortanetly, I have made some mistakes in my life and have a criminal record. It has forced me to re-evaluate my skills and what I can do to help support my family. When my children were small, to save money I made their clothes. I always got compliments on the fabric choices and designs and in the situation I am in made me realize that I am great at sewing and design. With funds being tight, I am here to see if I can raise funds to start my own sewing business. I live in Arizona and there are always a ton of farmers markets and areas in which I can set up shop and showcase my work. I also believe in the power of the internet and various sites that allow creative people like myself to have a virtual footprint. With the funds, I am seeking to purchase a sewing machine and various inventory items such as fabric and thread as well as to pay for booth fees at the upcoming markets. As a reward for your donation you will recieve a custom apron.
