Hi. My name is Carolyne and last summer I travelled to Sierra Leone to work in an Ebola lab. Whilst there I met the inspirational Miriam Mason-Sesay and visited two of the 10 free schools that she runs through the charity EducAid that she cofounded. Pupils include ex-child soldiers, orphans, child-mothers, refugees and those in extreme poverty. EducAid gives each child education, food, clothing, medication, hope, love and pride for just £15 a month. For many children the schools are also their homes and families.
Inspired by EducAid's amazing work, myself and numerous other people have got together to make cotton sleeping bags and collect books, clothing, toys and school supplies. We have several room's worth now but sadly our backer for the container to send them in pulled out. Please could you help us to raise £1300 to send these much-needed supplies to the schools in Sierra Leone.
Please help us make a difference. Many Thanks
