Send Our Singapore Flag Football Team for the 2024 World Championships!

We are the Singapore Flag Football National Team, and we are proud to have qualified for the World Championship in Finland this August! This premier event, held once every four years, is the FIFA world cup equivalent for flag football. It brings together teams from around the globe to compete at the highest level of flag football.

We are thrilled for the opportunity to represent Singapore on the international stage, but we need your help to make this dream a reality.

About Us:

The Singapore flag football national team was founded in 2023 by a group of athletes passionate for this curious sport in Asia. Flag football is a rapidly growing sport in Asia, and our team has been working tirelessly to prepare for the IFAF World Championship. And we're not your average football team. We're a group of flag football fanatics who eat, sleep, and breathe the game. We have trained hard, rain or shine, to compete against the world's best teams.

Representing Singapore at the World Championship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, and we're ready to bring our A-game to the field, and make Singapore proud.

Why Do We Need Your Support:

From plane tickets to pigskin balls, participating in the World Championship requires a significant financial commitment. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations and sponsorships to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, training, and equipment. Our players, managers and coaches (16 pax in total) also have to commit financially to going for the World Championships.

Unfortunately, the expenses associated with international competition are beyond some of our means, and we need your support to help us make our participation in this competition a reality.

How Will Your Donation Help:

Your donation will go directly towards funding our trip to Finland for the World Championship. It will help cover expenses such as airfare, accommodation, meals, training facilities, and equipment.

Your support will enable us to focus on our training and preparation, knowing that we have the necessary resources to compete at our best. Your support, in particular, will help our players who are currently still studying and/or working part-time.

Breakdown of Costs:

There are three main components to the costs for the tournament, totalling approximately SGD61,000.

1. SGD31,800 that covers - tournament registration fees, accommodation for 16 representatives for maximum 8 nights, fullboard meals for 16 representatives, transportation to & from the airport and transportation to & fro from Hotel to Field, and referee fees (2000 euros)
2. An estimated SGD27,200 for flight, assuming SGD1,700 per pax for 16 representatives.
3. Estimated cost of equipment and jerseys that adds up to SGD2,000

For transparency, we have been successful in obtaining a SGD5,000 grant from the Athletes' Inspiring Fund (AIF).
